Do a little research
Do not simply order dozens of bike from china in one time or especially when you are importing it for the very first time. Traget the company you want to import bikes from and do a little research about them. Visit their official site and read the terms conditions carefully. Check if they offer any repair in case if the bikes get damaged during shipment.
Check for the specifications
If you are satisfied with the company details then the next step is to look for the kind of bikes you want. Do not go on the outer looks because bike frameset and the color are not enough to judge the entire e-bike. There are much more things that you should check before ordering a bunch of bikes. Custom charges
One of the problems that arise in importing things for other country is the custom charges that are applicable on each and every product. These custom charges are basically the delivery or the shipment charges. These charges depend on the weight of the product you want to import. Set your budget first and then calculate the total custom charges applicable on the bikes. If the charges are within your range only then process the shipment otherwise go for the alternative.
Get an agreement signed
Once you have gone through each and every detail along with the custom charges and you area satisfied with each and everything then it’s the time to get the agreement done. Prepare an official document which has the clauses written in that regarding the import, shipment charges, repair and exchange of the bicycles. Send one copy to the sender and keep the other with you. Get both the copies signed with consent.
Process shipment
When the agreement is signed just process the shipment. It might take few weeks to few months. In order to be on the safe side do not pay all the money before the shipment. You should pay half of the amount before shipment and the other half when you have received the shipment.
